TRONSHOW2006

During the chilling winter of December, TRON association organized TRONSHOW 2006 at Tokyo International forum. IAP, being level “A” member of the T-Engine Forum and participant of few Work Groups for ubiquitous computing, participated in this show for the third consecutive year with concept applications & seminar.
The theme of the TRONSHOW this time was once again the ubiquity, but there were applications from other domains as well. Data distribution in ubiquitous society, distributed information gathering and management, food traceability, ubiquitous security system, ubiquitous ID based system along with robotics were some of the key areas for demonstrators and speakers. Quite a large number of high profile companies with core expertise in telecommunication, satellite communication, semiconductors, Geographical Information System, Audio/Video processing, consumer electronics, robotics along with System Integrators and academic institutions participated in the three days long exhibition. Plenty of them have ubiquitous-ready products for demonstration & implementation. This year IAP showcased several concept applications in the domain of streaming, ubiquitous computing, security and voice communication over IP network. The prominent product was the “RFID & Ubiquitous Computing Framework”. The focus was to demonstrate uID based Supply Chain Management with Inventory Management & end user tracebility system. IAP also demonstrated a multi-channel, multi-platform streaming system, which is compatible with ubiquitous communicator. One of the Japanese company included IAP’s VoIP system in its FPGA based security system to demonstrate the real time secure voice communication over IP. This concept has attracted attention from Internet Service Providers, Telcos and security companies. In a thirty minutes long presentation IAP discussed the possible impact of ubiquitous computing over business and people in the coming time. The ideas of future ubiquitous applications were also discussed.

TRONSHOW2005

IAP participated in TRONSHOW2005 as an exhibiter organized by TRON association held at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo from 7th to 9th December 2004.

Since the society is heading towards ubiquitous computing and different technologies are converging now, it was an important occasion for the companies & research institutes to demonstrate their capability and innovation in their products. Plenty of concept applications and models were available to the visitors to have a real feel of future ubiquitous society. People from different walk of life participated in the live demonstration of the applications.

This TRONSHOW proved that TRON is no more a Japanese technology limited to Japanese territory only but it has attracted global attention and companies across the globe are joining the hub to make their products more versatile, robust and portable.

Responding to the idea of ubiquitous computing & futuristic ubiquitous society, IAP also developed and showcased two product prototypes those can be deployed in any ubiquitous device powered by T-Engine platform.They are V²oIP on T-Engine and T-Engine based Remote Monitoring System. These products can be customized for the market needs of different verticals of embedded system and provide scalable solution in ubiquitous computing in the respective domain.

IAP also shared the idea of ubiquitous solution and services in its 30 minutes presentation session. The crux of the presentation was ubiquity, T-Engine platform and IAP’s contribution in ubiquitous computing. Approximately fifty professionals & executives from across the globe attended the session.

Because of the dedicated effort and balanced approach toward T-Engine platform, IAP got media attention and some dignitaries from technology, academic & political circle visited IAP booth and had demo of the product prototypes. The initiatives and concept application of IAP were widely appreciated.

TRONSHOW2004

IAP participated in the TRONSHOW - 2004 (TEPS 2004) from 10th to 13th December 2003. IAP participated as an exhibitor in the TRONSHOW 2004 “TEPS - 2004" organized by the TRON association held at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo from 10th to 13th December 2003.
The core theme of TEPS 2004 was "T-Engine and Ubiquitous ID". Through various displays, movies, presentations, Lectures and panel discussions, TRON technologies that respond to establishment of suitable environments to network computers built-in every-day objects was described. A revolutionary environment called T-Engine that helps create portable information for devices and network-connected household appliances more efficiently than before was the main focus of this show.
IAP showcased its competencies and applications in this exhibition with its TRON related projects and was duly appreciated in the exhibition. The main feature of IAP’s demonstration was the U4MP (Ubiquitous Mobile Multimedia Multimodal Messaging Platform) and the BVoIP (Bluetooth over Voice over IP over T-Engine). IAP also presented the applications in a 30 Minute presentation in which the technicalities and the concept of the application were elaborated. The Highlight of IAP’s participation was in the fact that IAP was the only Indo-Japanese company in the entire TEPS 2004 show and attracted both visitors and media attention. With this step, IAP has once again demonstrated its vision for Ubiquitous technology and its dedication for the TRON project.
