At each center, graduates from the Indian Engineering Colleges (IIT) and other highly educated graduates will be placed as backbones. At New Delhi research center, technical personnel will be trained for 2 –3 months about the techniques and business customs required here in Japan.
I.A.P. intends to divide the development works in Japan and in India by designing the embedded software for home-appliances etc. in Japan and doing the development work in India. In order to grasp and digest the clients requirement fully, for every ten engineers, one English speaking Japanese programmer is recruited. If clients prefer the entire development in Japan, I.A.P is ready to summon its programmers to Japan.
I.A.P. has an IT research center at New Delhi, where round 30 researchers are conducting research on the techniques like Linux, T-Kernel, embedded software development etc.
I.A.P. was founded in 1996 by Mr. Upadhyay, who had been a student of Dr. Ken Sakamura, professor of Tokyo University and started the full-scale operations in 2000. Unlike the other software development companies based in India, I.A.P. is exclusively serving the Japanese companies. |
